The Business Incubator
The purpose of the business incubator is to give solid support to innovators and people wishing to start their businesses by offering them a number of advantages:
- A network of professional skills and advisors whose sole aim is to help them get the company off the ground
- 900 m2 of well-equipped business premises
- Fully equipped offices including furniture and computer network
- A common infrastructure with a reception area, permanent switchboard service, photocopying facilities, conference rooms etc.
Each request for admittance to the incubator is subject to the consent of an Approval Committee which interviews each candidate on their project and their business plan. After which, the following criteria are then taken into consideration:
- The project must concern a “real” new business (no subsidiaries or branch offices)
- The suitability of the person to the project
- The financial viability of the project
- The technology concerned
Once approval has been given, the company can remain in the incubator for 23 consecutive months.
After this period, the company will benefit from all the help it could possibly need to set itself up as a fully fledged business in the greater community area.
